Billy Bragg wrote this song in 1983, Rancid's Lars Frederiksen re-recorded it in 2001. All these years later, in the precariat days of ours, the lyrics seem more valid than ever. I am wondering if there are any new bands recording songs about "the situation" and I just don't know them, or do we have to listen to the old tracks on and on?
