Scenery, Inhabitants & Customs of Afghaunistan

During the first British - Afghan war they obviously didn't have any photographers embedded with the troops, but luckily there were people like lieutenant James Rattray, who after coming home from war published this beautiful book on "Afghaunistan".

I came across it yesterday and fell in love immiadtely .
